I've recently started running a mini-retreat at the fabulous Knepp Estate called One Day Wilder, which embraces all the 4 elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water through experiencing Conscious Connected Breathwork (Air), Forest Bathing (Earth), Wild Bathing (Water) and a Sacred Fire Circle (Fire) all in one day. I'm going to be running more for two main reasons:
The feedback is incredible. The women who come feel find themselves feeling instantly relaxed in themselves, and with each other, get a huge amount from trying each of the practices, and leave feeling revived, relaxed, and altogether different - renewed in so many ways.
I feel an abundance of love and gratitude in sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge on these topics, and seeing the changes in woman as they experience them, often for the first time.
Here is Hayley's account and a thank you for what the day revealed to her. With her kind permission, I thought it was useful to hear in case you're considering coming, too:
"I wanted to drop you a note after the wonderful day on Sunday, to say thank you.
I found the whole day so interesting, and took away many learnings and lessons that I hope I can continue in my everyday life. The first one being that upon my return to Staffhurst Woods for my daily walk on Monday I realised that I have been entering the woods through a little ‘portal’ without even realising it. Already, it’s made a difference to how I approach the time I spend there and has encouraged me to move into my walk and the woods with intention. Photo attached 😊.
Secondly, I was so thrilled to find myself looking out for the little shoots of bluebells. Taking the time to look a little closer and finding reason to pause and look deeper has meant that I’ve been even more engaged with the nature around me. Thank you.
I wanted to note my appreciation for your ability to create such a warm and safe space from the outset. It’s not easy bringing a group of relative strangers together and making them feel at ease to be open and vulnerable but I really felt from the get-go that I was amongst friends. Further, the day really did push me out of my comfort zone, which is exactly what I was looking for, but in such a way that I simply felt encouraged and never pressured.
Thank you.
Finally, your passion for the subject matter really does shine through and brought a wonderful authenticity to the day. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your experiences, and how you came to discover this way of being in the world. It’s certainly sparked an interest in me, and I am sure that I will find myself at one of your sessions or retreats again in the future. Thank you.
Wishing you well for the remainder of these winter months. Hayley"
